These sources show how planning decisions shaped neighborhoods through zoning classifications, redevelopment efforts, and environmental concerns, while also capturing how residents and advocacy groups interpreted and responded to those changes. Materials in this collection document community concerns over development, displacement, and environmental preservation, and show how residents organized through meetings, mapping, public outreach, and coalition-building to influence city planning processes.
