For the cover of the November issue in 1923, The Birth Control Review used a drawing of a woman in distress laying on her side. Chained to her ankle is a weighted ball that says "unwanted children." At this time, The Birth Control Review was still being edited by Margaret Sanger. The artist is unknown.
