Message from the President of the Folk Alliance introducing the program book of the 1995 Folk Alliance Conference. This year's theme was "Building Community", the message being that the community of folk music is powerful support for resource sharing . Other notable statements include a conversation about fostering multiculturalism, providing voices for "marginalized cultural arts", and ensuring community growth.
