A hardcover first edition of "At the Ninth Hour" by Madeline Mason, previously owned by Daisy Aldan. Published in 1958 by The University Press of Washington, D.C. Printed by Heritage Printers, Inc., in Charlotte, NC. 62 numbered pages. Dust jacket colors are tones of red; front has the book title, author, and a drawing of an oud with a number nine. Spine of dust jacket lists the book title and author. The back of the dust jacket shows an image of Madeline Mason and another drawing of an oud and provides Mason's name and reviews of her work. The front and back inner flaps of the dust jacket provide a short biography and a review of the book. The hard cover is covered in tan canvas and has a small oud imprinted in black in the bottom right corner of the front cover. The spine of the cover has the book title and author name imprinted in black in the same style as on the spine of the dust jacket. The back hard cover is blank. The front right endpaper has an inscription in pen addressed to Daisy Aldan, signed by Madeline Mason, dated October 12, 1964.
