Description
The following are segments of a letter written by Mr. Geo. Shichitaro Fujii to James O'Rourke. In the first selection, he thanks Mr. O'Rourke for helping him and his family during his stay "there," the Crystal City Internment Camp, and for helping him recover his freedom. He describes his journey back to Seattle in detail, and expresses once more his gratitude for him and all of his officers, "for this perfect help on this trip." In the second selection, he ends the letter saying that he will visit O'Rourke one day to thank him in person and catch up once things return to normal.
