A typewritten and signed review by Kahlil Gibran of Madeline Mason-Manheim's translations into French of his works "The Madman," "The Forerunner," and "The Prophet." Dated Feb. 21, 1924. Paper had torn vertically down the middle at some point.

Transcription:
In the translation of my books: "The Madman", "The Forerunner", and "The Prophet" Madeline Mason Manheim has reproduced the thought and the rhythm of the original with a perfection I had not believed it possible to attain. I feel for the first time that my works have been truly recreated, and here are the only translations that I personally authorize.
